On Tuesday, September 22, the inauguration of Autoguidovie’s new Multi-Energy Hub in Pavia took place—a major infrastructure project dedicated to sustainable mobility and the gradual electrification of local public transportation.
The Hub, built at the Autoguidovie depot in Pavia Campeggi, represents a particularly innovative project in the public transportation sector, thanks to its ability to integrate different energy sources and support the fleet’s transition toward increasingly efficient mobility systems with reduced environmental impact.
The charging infrastructure built by Assytech
Within this innovative public transportation project, Assytech played a central role by building the charging system for electric buses.
With 17 charging stations, each rated at 150 kW, for a total of 34 charging points, our solution ensures the system’s operational continuity and efficient management of charging for a fleet that is set to grow over time.

Electrical and Systems Engineering Expertise for the Transportation Sector
Assytech’s expertise combines electromechanical equipment, plant automation, and the management of refueling and charging systems. These complementary areas of expertise enable us to address the transition to electric vehicles with a deep understanding of the operational needs of depots, going beyond the mere supply of equipment.
This expertise has already been applied, for example, to the infrastructure built for ASF Autolinee at the Tavernola and Lazzago depots in Como. In that project, Assytech oversaw the design and sizing of the charging infrastructure, the construction and plant engineering work, and the supply and installation of medium-voltage switchgear and charging stations. This project demonstrates Assytech’s ability to handle the various components of an electrification project, from defining requirements to system implementation.
In addition to its expertise in electrical systems, Assytech’s offerings include solutions for consumption management. Through OtControl—software developed by partner Coptron—it is possible to integrate electricity management with the management of fuels and other fluids, including smart charging capabilities. This approach is particularly valuable for fleets that use multiple types of fuel.
